Woodbridge resident Millyard Nega Marufe, 32, is being held without bond following his arrest on Wednesday, Oct. 19 when he allegedly broke into the Dollar General on Occoquan Road in his hometown.
Police say that at 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning, officers responded to the store, where there was an alarm activation.
Upon arrival, officers said that they found the front window with extensive damage and Marufe standing inside the store.
The initial investigation determined that Marufe used a rock to smash the front window to gain access to Dollar General, where food items were reported missing.
Marufe was arrested without incident and charged with burglary. His initial court date is pending, officials said.
